Wish I could help but perhaps someone else can suggest some restaurants for you!

We had the most amazing lunch at The Pump House - a restaurant attached to the baths. Whether it is open at night-couldn't say, but at lunch they have a three piece band playing beautiful tunes on a piano, celo & violin.
I absolutely loved it!

My favourite restaurant in Bath is Raphael's - right in the centre on Upper Borough Walls and just up from the theatre.

I usually have lunch there, and have only had one dinner there, but when googling to find the website to post, I see it's quite well-rated on tripadvisor.

I had a lovely lunch there one day with fellow Fodorite yk

Thanks, for the suggestions so far. I'm definitely checking out Raphael's and The Pump House.

I had a nice experience taking my husband to Sally Lunn's for his birthday. The food was good (not *remarkable* - if you're a foodie, maybe there's a better option), the ambiance and mythology made it quite charming.
