Speaking of unwanted SPAM. Do You Believe This?!

I warned Robespierre on his post, but I think you should worry after seeing what I have received today.

Talk about coincidence, look what I just got from Eric Idle and the boys.

Well, there's egg and spam; egg, bacon and spam; egg, bacon, sausage and spam; spam, bacon, sausage and spam; spam, egg, spam, spam, bacon and spam; spam, sausage, spam, spam, baco,n spam, tomato and spam;

Spam spam spam spam...

Spam spam spam egg and spam; spam spam spam spam spam spam baked beans spam spam spam.

Spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam!"

Hmm, I think that's still better than 19,000 Spam recipes.

Spamtastic!

I believe in Molvania, SPAM is considered haute cuisine.

You are so right, Bookchick, Spam is an expensive treat in Molvania. But whenever I dine out in Molvania, I never order wine with my Spam a la orange. I am afraid of ordering the wrong wine, as I can't tell if Spam is a red or white meat. Can anyone help?

But of course the Spam in Molvania is expensive - it's imported, after all.

You order the Rose', which is 1/3 red wine to 2/3 white.

Me thinks MaiTaiTom reading too much Dr. Seuss.

Green Spam and Egg is the favorite Molvanian dish.

And this does belong on a travel site. Just remember than SPAM spelled backwards is MAPS!

" I saw turkey spam in Walmart last week."

I hope you gobbled that up right away.

Hard as it is to believe, I have never had Spam. I might have to try it. now. My wife said she used to like it. Is there actually a "good" recxipe that incorporates Spam?

KY, that's probably better than seeing Walmart spam in Turkey. Sorry

Patrick, very clever reply.

I was just going to say this was not really travel related, so make the Spam recipe one with a Continental flavor. Now that you have clarified that it is, indeed, a travel post, any old Spam recipe should suffice (perhaps with a little of that KY Bourbon).

my mother used to slice it and bake it with pineapple rings and either maple syrup or brown sugar on top. She served it with sweet potatos and peas and it was pretty good.

In Hawaii they eat it all the time with eggs and rice.
