spanish steps hotel

i am meeting my sister at the ic de la ville at the spanish steps in rome. i get there one nite before she does and they have no room avaiable. i want to be walking distance to the hotel. can anyone recommend a good hotel. i was thinking of the Inn at the Spanish Steps but i am not sure. thank you!

What budget....like prices at the IC?

guess i should have mentioned. the IC has a rate for a single of 219E so i am comfortable in that range. if its a amazing hotel, heck i will go higher. i have not been to rome in 20+ years and who knows when i will go back. thank you!

I stayed at the Hotel d'Inghilterra years ago, and apparently it's gone more upscale since then; great location, just a couple of blocks from the base of the Spanish Steps.

The Trinita dei Monti and the Internazionale are both on the Via Sistina, just steps away from the De la Ville. I've stayed at all three at one time or another and liked them all. Don't have the websites for the other two but I'm sure you can find them with a search.
