Spanish or Catalan?? Need translation, please...
i just purchased a cute tote bag in Barcelona. On the front is printed "Deja te (OR dejate, I can't tell whether there's a separation. bc the script runs together..) llevar."
SO: "Deja te llevar" OR "Dejate llevar." (And, of course, my keyboard makes it necessary to leave out the accent mark over the first e.) The salesclerk said she thought it meant something like "I'm going on a journey, come with me." Now that I'm home, I have researched the internet and cannot find a literal translation. Must be an idiom.... Any idea what it does mean? Was she right? |
