Spanish garlic

I would like to visit a distribution center for garlic in the south of Spain. A friend told me about it, but he cannot remember where it was. He described it as a large warehouse where the workers assembled garlic into braids and then packed it, all the while chewing on gloves of garlic. Does anyone know where this might be?

Your friend was pulling your leg.

Just follow your nose. You'll find it.

I don't know in the south of Spain, but if you want to see how garlic is produced and pack, the best place to go is Las Pedroņeras (a small village in the province of Cuenca, Spain). They have the best garlic in the world.

Talk about the best garlic in the world, has anybody heard of a town called Gilroy on Northern California? Here they make garlic ice cream.
