Spain Wine Country

Flying into Madrid week of Thanksgiving and heading to Rioja, Ribera Del Duero and possibly Toro back to Madrid. Looking for suggestions on lodging, eating and sights that shouldn't be missed. What are your thoughts?

Touring in late November is difficult, even for us. It's post harvest, so you will need to have your reservations well in advance at those bodegas still open for visitors at that time.

Have you read Maribel's Guide to the Rioja, which covers both the Rioja and Ribera del Duero? If not, then you can find it at: www.maribelsguides.com. She covers wine touring, lodging and dining.
