yes, emily71. There seem to be NO trains Granada -Sevilla at all. Hmmm. Look into the bus because I see their online for the 29th as functioning..not sure if there would normally be MORE buses. It seems there are a LOT which seems strange on one hand.

I'd encourage you to stick with your plans if it all possible and spend more time in Sevilla - it's a special city!

Alsa hopes to know by the end of the day which buses will travel/be canceled.

Many of the "servicios minimos" won´t be published until the day before, and in fact, for the Madrid metro and buses we only know the percentage that will be running.

There are more news regarding Iberia

The strike is not going to be cancelled.Best to make alternative travel arrangements and really if you can avoid travelling on that day better for you.Minimum services in Spain can mean anything from 30/40% to nothing.i have lived here over twenty years and this is one of the more serious ones in terms of intention.Whether they have a big as stoppage as they want is yet to be seen but negotiations are at a standstill.

I wish I could have spent more time in Granada but I'm sure the bus system will not be running most of their lines either-so I'll really know Granada by then! Gracias.

Any recent info on the strike? We are in BCN hoping to fly out of here for US tomorrow at 10:20 on Delta. Have private car scheduled for 6:30 a.m. Wonder if there will be major efforts to disrupt traffic into airport or out of city, etc. Any local advice would be greatly appreciated. Julie

I advise anyone who's thinking of traveling by rail or bus tomorrow to wait a day. Most buses and trains aren't running while the few that are will be packed. Best to just stay put.
