I've been to Spain three times so far and haven't even stepped foot in the northeastern part of the country yet!

joan - I really could not leave Spain without getting to Ronda - for some reason it captivated me in photos and honestly? It lived up to it. I am VERY glad we spent two nights there - it has been one of the many highlights of our trip. We stayed at the Parador and had an amazing room- ask for 223 if you are staying there! The terrance was remarkable. Truly - over looking the bridge wow is all i can say...over and over.
riding was wonderful - I will fill in all details when I do a trip report. (driving there was NOT wonderful - oh my! ) hiking was stunning - and ronda after the day trippers leave is what I loved most.. we seem to be more "small town" people than the big cities (but I LOVED Madrid!).

This trip has been so special. I was so nervous coming here alone with dd as my husband was supposed to come - but it turned out perfect. We have an an amazing time, bonding, talking and just hanging out. Really special.
