Spain Itinerary - Please advice
Hello,
I'm looking for comments/suggestions regarding my itinerary for my trip to Spain. I would also appreciate any advice on how to get from city to city. What is the best means of transportation and the quickest? Also, is there any suggestions for hotels? Day 1 London to Sevilla Day 2 Sevilla Day 3 Sevilla (Day trip to Cordoba) Day 4 Malaga (Morning of Day 4 head to Malaga) Day 5 Malaga (Morning of Day 5 head to Granada for day trip and come back to Malaga) Day 6 Madrid (Morning of Day 6 head to Madrid) Day 7 Madrid Day 8 Madrid Day 9 Madrid Day 10 (evening head back to London) Day 11 London Many thanks... |
For Sevilla I'd suggest you take a look at Explore Seville (http://www.exploreseville.com/) and Visitcostadelsol.com for Malaga.
The train works fine between Sevilla and Malaga and then onto Madrid. |
Sounds fine, of course you know that you have to reserve ahead the visit to the Alhambra in Granada. A good idea also is to rent ear plug system at the begining of the visit. There is a lot of different buildings to see, gardens, etc and it is very useful.

Looks good to me. I might even add a daytrip from Madrid to either Segovia or Toledo.

ssad, First of all, never be so sad :) Life's too short :)
For hotels etc, download Maribel's guides. They are at: http://maribelsguides.com/. |
I'd recommend a daytrip from Madrid to Segovia.

It is a lot of country to cover in a short time. If it were me I would eliminate Malaga and spend longer in Seville. Malaga is mostly unattractive high rises. Re the day trips - I guess this is a matter of whether you want to see the place you are staying in or just use it as a base for day trips elsewhere.
