Quite honestly, looking at places to sleep and/or visit, I'd drop Toledo (and the countryside you pass through to get there) before I'd drop Ronda. After Madrid, Segovia, Cordoba and Sevilla, you'll be pretty much Jesus, Maryed and Josephed out. If you can stay at the Parador in Ronda, so much the more spectacular your experience.

I agree with Littlemountain that I'd drop Toledo before I would Ronda. The countryside between Sevilla and Ronda and Ronda and Granada is simply spectacular, unlike any place else Ive visited.
I can't vouch for the Parador, wince I haven't stayed there, but we were enchanted with the Hotel San Gabriel. Our room there had the nicest furnishings of our trip to Spain in '04, the staff couldn't be nicer, and it's conveniently located. http://www.hotelsangabriel.com/ingle...el/elhotel.htm |
Just returned from Spain 4/15. You have hit all the best spots. Rhonda is breath taking,my favorite. Looked into the Alhambra? Worth seeing.
