i booked a 4 night trip (during thanksgiving week) to madrid for 2 for $1163, incl air (Iberia) and hotel (tryp gran via).

That sounds like a very good deal! Was it a package, or did you book the hotel and airfare separately? If a package, what company? If separately, did you buy your plane tickets driretly from Iberia, or through a consolidator?<BR><BR>Have a wonderful time!

Are we supposed to be impressed by this with so little information. Suppose you live in Lisbon. Doesn't sound like such a great deal to me. Or are you flying from Hong Kong? Much better deal then.

Julie, sk1 is staying at the Tryp Gran Via in Madrid. Last time I checked, I thought that the rate was over 100 Euro per night, probably in the 150 Euro range.
