Spain : Alicante
Hi,<BR>I have made arrangements for my boss to visit spain, alicante, for his holiday. He wants to know what the various beers are that he can get and what pricing we are looking at? Other comments regarding Alicante and it's nightlife appreciated. Thanks, Noeleen

Noeleen, I am just returning from 3 weeks in Spain with most of it being spent in Alicante. I can tell you that it definitely had some of the best night life of any of the 11 cities that I visited. It is right on the beach, and there are clubs, bars, pubs stretching across the entire beach. There is also a large port that has a lot of clubs and bars. Alicante is very lively and I guess the best word to describe it is just fun. And if you are not the kind of person that bar-hops and things like that, Alicante has a more relaxed, tranquil side to it also...It can be whatever you make it... You made a wise decision by choosing Alicante!

The beer is not much cheaper that in the USA, actually quite similar. It is about 1.50- 2 euros for one beer. There are many boats which you can take rides on at night that just take you around the Mediterranean with a bars on them.
