3 week itinerary suggestions for Spain?
|
Depends on your interests, when you are going, etc. Get some good guidebooks (always a worthy investment, IMO) or consult a few at your local library, read trip reports and planning threads on this forum, get some ideas, and then come back with the questions that will help you hone your decisions.
It's a wonderful, huge, and very diverse country. Enjoy! |
We just finished three weeks…This itinerary worked almost perfectly for us…
Five Nights - Barcelona…then flew to Granada Three Nights - Granada...Drove to Sevilla via White Towns (one night) Three Nights Sevilla…train to Cordoba One Night Cordoba…Train to Toledo (must connect thru Madrid) Three Nights Toledo (Fantastic) …Train to Madrid Four Nights Madrid If I did it over again, I'd skip the White towns and add one more day to Madrid. Trip report will start in a couple of weeks…I hope! ((H)) |
You really need ot give us more info.
Vital: Who/how many are you? What time of year? Interests? (beach or not, every museum castle and cathedral or not, partying all night or not, fine dining? hiking? architecture? shopping? clog dancing? kite flying?????) Also SOME idea of budget - no money student, mods, moderate, luxury??? And agree that until you read a couple of guide books what we can do to help is limited. |
I like OP's brevity.

I like Maitaitom's itinerary, actually. It depends on the flights you can get, though. Granada is kind of an outlier, it doesn't fit into any near itinerary due to its location and access problems (no good train from Seville, etc). If you are willing to fly to it frm BCN, as maitaitom did, that is one solution.
I enjoyed Malaga and it is easier to get to from Seville or Cordoba by train. And it's easy to get from Malaga to Madrid or BCN by plane. |
