In Bucharest definitely try Therme, which should be the largest in Ro and is quite interesting also from an architectural point of view - it has outdoor and indoor pools, thermal pools and also quite a huge indoor garden, for that "tropical feeling"

Hi,
I know they have different price options depending on access type and number of people (single entry, with kids, family prices etc) but it should be all on their website (google therme bucharest)- which also has English version (upper right corner). Hope this helps
Bucharest is also worth visiting while you are there - let me know if you need any recommendations

Thank you for spa suggestion we will look at website again tonight.
If you have time your input on our itenary is welcome, thank you kindly for your help.
we have four full days/nights in Bucharest, our plans are:
We are staying five nights in Bucharest (we will arrive late Monday night). We are staying close to city center.
First morning walking tour - walk about free tours
Tennis somewhere - we play tennis and like to add playing during our trips. Would love to play where locals play casually- perhaps a recreation center or any other suggested area.
Day trip to Brasov and onto Bran And Peles castles in one day then return to Bucharest at night. Is this too much to do in one day?
Would love to add spa and possibly another day trip. We are an active couple and enjoy pedestrian walkways, eating with locals and overall experience everywhere we go.
Is there a drink or food item unique to this region?
I would love to do a 5k while in Bucharest... I have been looking for local races.

Itinerary looks nice - see below some suggestions
For the first morning, you could try to do a tour of the Parliament but also, since you are active, a "must see" round tour of the city by bike. For hidden gems that only locals know about, try Vacaresti delta
For tenins - Pescariu sports, they have indoor and outdoor courts
Peles and Bran are can be done in one day but since you are in Brasov, it would be worth to stay there overnight and perhaps do a bear watching experience on the second day, it is really a unique experience.
As for local food and drinks - "palinca" (the traditional strong drink) and for food....depends what you like but people enjoy "zacusca" (vegetable spread), "vinete" (aubergine spread) and "sarmale" - there are plenty of other local foods if you look for a local&traditional food tour in old markets
As for the 5k, depends on the time of year but if there are no races, you can do it on your own around the Herastrau lake (in Herastrau park).
