spa in Bagni di Lucca Italy
 

Has anyone ever had spa treatments in Bagni di Lucca?
The large or small cave springs appealed to us.
We are very interested in learning what is offered along with pricing and then booking before our trip in Nov 2009.
A webpage would be perfect!

I lived near Lucca (Prato) for a few years but never did the spa thing - however, I found myself in Weisbaden for 5 days (2 weeks ago) and i had a lovely time there: http://www.qype.co.uk/place/105274-K...erme-Wiesbaden

Thank you for your reply but we have rented a home in Lucca for 2 weeks. The spa was one of our side trips after hiking the Riviera. Since you lived near Lucca any recommendations would be super!

The train is good for Florence, Pisa etc, I guess a car is necessary for at least some of the time - and you will find heaps to see and do eg Vinci for Leonardo da Vinci museum, Collodi for Pinocchio, Abetone for early snow, also a spa at Montecatini Terme. The centre of Prato is OK for a wander, and if you go on a Monday morning there is a large market with clothes etc (and fresh food) that can be fun. Enjoy!

We have taken the train from Lucca to Florence & Cinque Terre, and the bus to Siena a few yrs ago.
Lucca is such a great homebase.
