Southwest Ireland Itinerary Help for a Car-sick prone family!

HI!

My family of two adults and four kids (aged 14, 12, 9, and 7) will be traveling to Ireland in late June/early July. I'd love feed back on our itinerary. Our family goals are: hiking/moving activity and experiences in a variety of areas, minimizing car-sickness with not a ton of driving.

Specific questions: I have a little flexibility still - should I stay somewhere else besides Cahir on the path towards Killarney? Like Visit Cahir on Day 2 but actually stay somewhere like Cork or Kinsale or an extra day in Killarney?

It will be my 7 year old Daughter's birthday in Killarney - is there something "special" we could do for her? I thought about high tea at the Killarney hotel but it is a tad pricey for the 6 of us.

Day 1: Arrive Shannon - visit Bunratty and spend night in an Adare bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Drive to Cashel and then Cahir - spend night at a hotel in Cahir.

Day 3-5: Drive to and spend two nights in Kilarney in an air bnb near Gap of Dunloe - highlight Gap and Muckross house and meals in town

Day 5-9: Drive to Dingle - stay in airbnb in Ballyferriter 4 nights.

Day 9-11: Drive to Dooin via Shannon ferries, vacation rental three nights - Burren, Cliff of Mohr, maybe Aran one day.

Day 12: Drive to Shannon Airport (depart 11am).

RE: Daugher's Birthday

Perhaps a jaunting car ride?
