southwest france and southern spain in low season
We are planning a trip to Southwest France and Southern Spain Sept/Oct 2008. With the cost of the Euro we are considering off season (after Oct 15th). Anyone one with experience concerning weather in these areas during this time frame?

Last October I rented a house in the Dordogne..it was the third week in October. Weather was fantastic..we had one day of rain; the rest were bright sun and warm enough to wear a t-shirt during the day..
Southern Spain should, of course, be much warmer esp in the low altitudes..

Thanks everyone
American Airlines calls low season from Oct15 till May 15th. At that period a trip to Europe is 40,000 air miles and before Oct 15th it is 60,000. We are doing our best to use our AA frequent miles . I guess that the weather should be great both France and Spain. Thats great

When I was in Seville it was late Oct. into mid Nov...gorgeous weather! A couple days of some rain..but didn't last all day. Check out this website to see the weather in the past few years.
