southern spain itenerary NEED HELP!
I just booked our tickets for Spain.
Our itenrary is as follows, 3 nights Granada, 4 nights Seville, 2 nights Ronda, and 2 nights Arcos. I just discovered we have 2 EXTRA days left over! what should we do. Should we check out malaga or maybe spend 1 night extra in both ronda and arcos. we will be going in march, and we want to stick to one region. especially with kids. we have already been to madrid, toledo, segovia, and barcelona! |
I suggest a day trip from Granada to Cordoba to see the great mosque. Also, be sure to reserve your tickets to the Alhambra well in advance of your visit.

Him montrealvic -
Sounds like a great trip! I second adding Cordoba. You might even want to stay there a night or two! |
One more night in Sevilla and a visit to Cordoba spending one night there.
Arcos and ROnda are small towns, Cordoba is next and Sevilla is the third largest city in Spain. A lovely city, fun, lively, and many things to visit there. |
Definitely agree - Cordoba was our favourite place we visited on our recent trip to Spain and definitely worth a visit. I might suggest two nights there - it's easier to have two nights in each place but you could definitely go for one night if you want to spend an extra day in Seville.

how about mijas or nerja. would you recommend cordoba over these.
|
I cannot comment on Mijas but we know Nerja quite well as we live about 30 mins inland from it. It is very nice but quite small and any time of the year I would recommend Cordoba over Nerja, but in March the beach will not be an attraction.
I wouldn´t add any extra nights to Arcos or Ronda, nor would I include Malaga, although the old part is quite nice. I think adding Cordoba would be a great idea. |
thanks everyone. 2 extra nights for cordoba it is.
