Southern Spain in late autumn

Hi all,

A friend and I are heading over mid november and are already planning to trip around southern Spain, flying in and out of Barcelona.
My question is around what to see, what to avoid, how should we travel around... and where is the best place to go for my birthday?!
We are thinking barcelona - valencia - granada, sevilla - cordova - toledo (i liked the name!) - madrid - saregossa - barcelona.
This isnt concrete and we are winging it most of the way depending what we like and dont like.
A lot of other forums imply that all the good stuff is closed if its not summer, but im actually really excited to see it when its off-peak.

Looking forward to your hints and tips :)

Here are some fine and updated sites on my favourite cities along this route (sounds like you're covering very much unless you have a month or more, and only Granada, Córdoba and Sevilla are in the South).

Barcelona: http://www.barcelonaturisme.com/
Córdoba: http://www.guardian.co.uk/spanish-to...-changed-world
http://english.turismodecordoba.org/index2.cfm
Sevilla: http://www.exploreseville.com/
Madrid: http://www.esmadrid.com/en/portal.do

All the good stuff is not closed, in fact more restaurants etc are closed in summer in for example Madrid and the cities in the South because of the heat.

You could have birthdays never to forget in all the named cities, but my pick would perhaps be wonderful Sevilla.

Start the night in the local feel Arenal area with lots of great tapas bars and cafés. Here you can have dinner in genuine Enrique Becerra:

Then go on to riverside Calle Betis and perhaps into one of several great flamenco/sevillanas bars/clubs in the Triana district.

if tickets aren´t bought it would be wise to fly into one city and out of another, such as Sevilla or Madrid.

Will you be here a couple weeks or how long?

Thank you soo much! it is just a rough draft of which way we will travel. have no idea where we will actually stay and spend time, but we will spend more time in Granada, Córdoba and Sevilla from the recommendations

We're over for two weeks (15-29 Nov)

Thank you
