Southern Italy Public Transportation?

I heard about the hop-on hop-off buses that goes from Sorrento to Positano or other towns to avoid the other crowded buses? Is this something worth doing? Has anyone used it before and found it worth the money?

It's more expensive than the SITA bus (of course) but has many fans. I have not personally used it as I have no need to but if you don't mind paying the extra money, the air-con and lack of crowds may suit.
