To which airports in the South is it possible to get a budget airline flight from London preferably Gatwick ?

Hi John - For options from London see:

Hope this helps ...

Depending on when you want to go, the Scheduled airlines can be cheaper than the budget routes.

The last few times I have been to Naples, it has worked out cheaper to fly British airways from Gatwick than Ryanair from Sansted. The other option I have used to Naples is BMI from Heathrow.

Try kayak.com.

Example: it shows a non-stop fare, GTW to NAP, June 14 for $121 (British Airways).

The only non stop alternative to Naples is Bari, but I think your only option there would be Ryanair from Stansted.

you didn't say how far South ;-) but these are the ones I know to the Naples/Bari area:

Direct Flights to Naples, Italy:
From London Gatwick - with British Airways
From London Heathrow - with BMI
From London Heathrow - with Lufthansa
From London Stansted - with Easyjet
From Manchester - with Thomasfly

Direct Flights to Bari, Italy:
From London Stansted - with RyanAir
From London Gatwick - with British Airways
From London Heathrow - with Alitalia

Direct Flights to Pescara, Italy:
From London Stansted - with Ryanair

CasaDelCipresso - Thank you, I didn't know that BA or Alitalia flew to Bari from London. This may prove useful as it is a part of Italy I have not yet explored.
