What are your specific questions or areas of interest re Sicily?

Hi Robert--Do a search on this site for Naples and a separate one for Amalfi Coast, and one for Sicily. I'm going to Naples in May and have found lots of good postings with a search.

Robert -- we're also looking to do a simliar trip and were wondering the same thing (about a trip to Malta from Sicily) I hope someone knows the answer and posts about it!

We were on Sicily for a week and had explored doing the trip to Malta by boat, but it was very involved and difficult getting to the ports by train. We ended up flying from Palermo to Malta on Air Malta. It was quite reasonable, even though we ended up doing a continuing flight with them from Malta to Zurich, five days later. They may also have a Palermo to Malta, Malta to Rome combination as well -- where are you flying home from? <BR>There is a web site for Air Malta which shows schedules and fares (although it probably won't be current for next October, yet.)

Robert, Go to www.initaly.com and find their site guide---go to READERS REPORTS and find my article called "navigating with Bob and Ed in southern Italy" That may help.
