South Wales - Abergavenny or Crickhowell

Coming from England we have 3 days to spend in South Wales. We thought we would station ourselves in Abergavenny or Crickhowell. Do you have a preference?
Thanks, for your thoughts and suggestions!

Really? why?
Someone might be able to help further if you say why you've picked those places and what you wish to see in South Wales.

For example, I might stay on the Gower or Sandersfoot because I really like walking on the beach or I'd stay near the Brecon Beacons as I like to hike or I'd choose Cardiff for the 'nightlife' !

So sorry for being so hasty with my post. We've now decided to just spend more time in Cornwall and do Wales next visit.

Thanks for you time.

If you click on my name, you can find my trip report for London, Winchester and Wales. Chose to stay in Crickhowell and loved it, but you do drive through Abergavenny most days out!

That was fast -- 'spect you'll be in the Yorkshire before long!
