Thanks everyone who answered my question about where to go in South of France. I am just getting the hang of this whole message board and all the information has helped already. We may change our dates and eliminate May as there seems to be many holidays in that month, as someone mentioned. I think we will stay somewhere around Nice and then move and stay somewhere around Avigon. How does that sound? We will be renting a car.

Hmmm, Marianna, it sure looks inviting. I drove by that area in October and made a mental note to look for an apartment there for next year.
