South Kensington or Notting Hill?

I'm moving to London for a six month work assignment in a few weeks, and I've been presented with a few options for housing. The two that I'm leaning towards are located in South Kensington and Notting Hill.

The South Kensington apartment is located near the Gloucester Road tube stop near Lexham Gardens. The Notting Hill apartment is near Princes Square and the Notting Hill Gate tube station.

I'll be commuting to an office very near Victoria Station.

Any input about the locations would be much appreciated!

In my opinion Notting Hill is a better neighborhood, but South Ken is probably better for your commute.
