Ever been there? Does anybody have a photo of the sunset that's meant to be the collest in the world.. I've been there and I haven't seen anything amazing... maybe the weather was wrong...?

I was there 6 years ago and the sunset was beautiful as you looked thru and around the temple.

I was there at sunset in july 2004. it was breathtaking. i do have a cool photo on my desktop. wish i could share it... don't know how!

Highly recommend a Sounion trip if you are staying in Athens for a few days. Take the local bus along the "water route." There is a very nice bay to the east you can swim at. Nice memories from '79, '85, '89 and '94. Another trip planned for '07!
