Sorrento Webcam

I have been traveling and away from my computer for some time. I have finally unpacked and caught up with my mail. I just checked the webcam on slowtravel and What happpened while I was gone? It doesn't look the same and I really can't even see anything.

OK so it isn't me.

It was down for what seemed like forever, only to return with terrible visibility. And yes during daylight hours in Sorrento. Here's hoping one of the experts on this board....

The Sorrento webcam is a dissapointment since they "fixed it". the picture is smaller and not as clear. Tis a shame.

I read on slowtravel that it is supposed to be fixed in February 2006.

I don't know what that means, but I sure hope it reverts back to what it once was.

Thank you for your thoughtful replies. I am so disappointed! It always gave me such an "Italy pick up boost" to check in on the webcam every once in a while. Here is hoping that they get it fixed in Feb.
Happy Holidays to you all.

I really prefer the webcam from the hotel Aminta. The view on that glorious bay ...
