Sorrento versus Positano

for a three night stay. which would be the best place to stay?? Please help

I thought Sorrento was a nice town, but Positano was so beatiful. With three days, you will find plenty to occupy your time, if you can tear yourself away from your balcony. I took a day trip to Capri, and later hated that I wasted my time that I could have spent in Positano!

Who's going? If it's just adults, I'd opt for Positano, which is much more beautiful than Sorrento. But with kids, I'd base in Sorrento, since Positano would bore them out of their minds.

Good luck!
