Sorrento-Positano ferry schedules

When are the spring/summer schedules for ferries from Sorrento-Positano/return usually released?

Keep an eye on this website. The scheduled services should have started but there are delays due to WW2 ammunition being found in the waters off the Amalfi Coast.

Goldngirl - those services are unaffected. It's just the Amalfi Coast.

Wondering if there is any update on this? the coopsantandrea site still does not seem to have a schedule for Sorrento ferries. Will this be running by June? is there someplace I can look for news (googling has not turned up anything on this).

I actually emailed the Sorrento tourist office this morning about this and they said the ferries from Sorrento to Amalfi Coast were off until mid-June. You could email them for further info. [email protected]

And since this is Italy, that probably means about August...

Thanks Jazzy, that's really helpful. I wonder if it applies to small private boats as well. Perhaps I will email and ask.

@ china_cat - that's a very rude comment. Dismantling WW2 ammunition is not a matter of throwing old bombs on the back of a boat. FYI I find the infrastructure in this part of Italy to be far more reliable than London and the ferry services always run on time, as does the Circumvesuviana train and Naples metro.
The bans apply to all passenger vessels which makes sense considering what they're dealing with.
