I stayed at the Hotel Minervetta Oct.4,5,6th. It was a great hotel, short walking distance to town, but spectacular view and great restaurant. We dined there all three nights.

In Oct, we stayed at the Il Nido which is up in the hills above Sorrento. If you need a quiet place to stay, this is for you. Includes breakfast and free dropoff/pickup to the train station/ferry and center of town. Cannot be beat for the price but skip the dinner. Website: http://www.ilnido.it/default.htm
