Something with Fireworks!
 

Is anyone aware of an event in late June with fireworks? Western Europe would be ideal for travel purposes, but any suggestions would be great!

Lots of cities/towns have festivals with fireworks...you might have to narrow your search down to a specific area and look through tourist office information to find dates that match yours interests.

Annecy, France has a fantastic display during their festival du lac, but I believe that is early August.

The castles at Heidelberg Germany and and at Schwetzingen (during Lichterfest) have fireworks displays. Here is the Heidelberg one:

For your time frame, you might also want to check out Rhine in Flammen...you may have to google it because I can't remember which way the web site has it spelled:
www.rheininflammen.de or is it www.rhineinflammen.de
