What was a McDonald's doing in a pizza anyway? How many calories would that be in total?

I have a thing for terraces in the city and Florence was the best. Fifth floor and you could see the lights of the city and fireworks. Five of my gfs and we sat drinking wine in the evening, coffee in the morning. Also a great place to hang laundry. They had racks and clothesline. I look at apartments now and that is all I care about. Must have a terrace.

Budapest relit the Chain Bridge in purple on November 4th, closing the deck to vehicles, then pedestrians. They then opened it as the gathered crowd marched across and back, led by the mayor. It was to mark the Soviet invasion putting down the revolution of '56. It was a moving thing to be unexpectedly involved in, as we were there just at the right time and simply filed in. I'd like to return, knowing now more about the history behind it.

The party and music that followed the march was fun all the same. I'm very fond of Budapest.

Would also like to return to Sibiu and Brasov in Romania because the architecture and local vibe is so different from the usual.

Having asked the question, I should also make a comment. One of my magical moments was being on top of Lycabettus Hill in Athens just before and during sunset. It was a sight to behold from the highest point in the city enjoying the panoramic 360 view of the lighted city, including the floodlit Acropolis in the distance. No visit to Athens should ever exclude this.
Thank you everyone for your interesting contributions.

June 21 in Paris for Fete de la Musique - it stays light late into the evening and music everywhere; we particularly enjoyed Montmartre, but music is, again, everywhere.

Any warm evening to sit outside in Milan and enjoy Aperitivo.
