Solo travel

Is there anywhere in Europe that's good for a solo traveler ?

Any where you like! All of my trips to Europe have been solo and there is no where in Europe that I would not go as a solo female traveler. Well, OK, I'd take Ukraine and Russia off the list for now.

You might find some inspiration in this compilation of trips reports about solo travel:

Welcome to Fodors. If this is a serious question, I can think of almost no place in Europe I'd worry about traveling solo. What types of things are you looking for??

So many parts of Europe are solo friendly! It does depend on what you want to experience! Beaches, nightlife, hiking? Meeting people?

I agree, no problem going solo. As a senior female, have never felt unsafe. Two big advantages to going by yourself:
You can do whatever you want, whenever you want, without worrying about someone else's goals.
People are much more likely to talk to you if you are by yourself.
