Solo lunch and/or dinner in Killernay and Dublin
 

I will be on my own in Ireland for a few days after a tour. Can anyone recommend some nice places for solo eating in Killarney (dinner) and/Dublin (lunch and dinner)? Thanks, Gail

We ate lunch at The Bank, it was quite good. This was the summer of 2012.

Last July we ate dinner at The Canal Bank Cafe, 146 Upper Leeson St., good food and delicious whisky sours.

Also at The Sussex, 9 Sussex Terrace, Upper Leeson St. This is above a pub so don't be put off by that, it was lovely sitting upstairs by an open window and the food was delicious and the service good and friendly.

These two restaurants are very close to one another.

We liked the Bank a few years ago. Glad to hear it still is good..The Shelbourne is you can swing it $ wise..
