Sofitel Paris Porte de Sèvres

Available 10 nights for period 15-25 July in Sofitel Paris Porte de Sèvres hotes at best rates.
To be honest I made this booking during promotional campaign for myself, but due to personal circumstances will not be able travel to France.
For those who are interested I am ready to explain in details what are the rates and willing to reduce the price.
Please don't hesitate to contact me by e-mail: [email protected]
With Kind Regards,
Genia

Gina, does this happen to be a Priceline reservation you can't use?

Hi Gina,
I think Will wants to know if you got this reservation using Priceline.
Can you not tell us anything more on here?

Dear Scarlett,
I booked that room for 10 nights and the hotel reservation already dedicted the amount from my credit card. The rate was at 130 euros per night, this was at promotional campaign rate. Due to some personal circumstances i decided to cancel the hotel booking. Since the package was at promotional rate they refused to reimburse my money. So, the total I paid was 1170 euros. If anyone interested I am willing to reduce the price.
I would appreciate if anyone of you could give me a solution for this matter.
P.S. The booking was made by agency through SABRE System. In the system was nothing mention about no cancellation due to promotional rate.

Did you actually cancel the booking? If so, won't the hotel let the room go (in spite of not allowing you a refund) and sell it again?
(so in other words, the room is no longer yours to offer to anyone else..?)

I'm not in a position to help you out, but I'm curious and think my questions might at least help someone else..

Will there be a challenge to having someone with a name other than yours show up to claim the room? I can't even remember now if Parisian hotels want to see your passport for registration - mind's gone blank about it.

Hope you can work something out.

Right now I pray for their manager come back from abroad and help out, at least charge me for one night and not for 10 nights as i explain previously that i won't be able travel to France due to some personal circumstances.
I think they wouldn't mind to keep someone else insted of me, as long as it's paid. And I also think it's upto me to decide who will stay there.
Regards,
Genia
