This is one of the worst headers that I've seen in a long time.

Donna, I agree. I think "newbies" type in their message and go to the search box and scroll down and highlight the country they're writng about, not realizing it's the SEARCH function and doesn't have anything to do with a new post. It sure would be nice if Fodors could rectify this by designing the page better.

Donna your header is "Soccer mom" and it's terrible because your question is about currency conversion and has nothing to do with soccer.

The header is the title of your message. It should be related to the subject of your message. For example, the header (title) to your original message would have been much more descriptive if you had typed something like "Information Needed for Travelers to Eastern Europe" or "Need Help with weather in Eastern Europe and changing USD to Euro." The header is the info that's posted in the left-hand column. It's what attracts knowledgeable posters to your message. The title "Soccer mom" reveals little about the info you're seeking, so most people would probably bypass it. Welcome to Fodors.

hi there,<BR>agrees with Rex, shure, the header helps to select and gives a first info about the question. But I'd rather see this then any more of "What shoes to wear in Paris?". To the question: The weather is fairly warm in July, less rain. So prepare for summer, but not for beaching. Best way for money: Get it at the airport in Austrai from the ATM, just take Euro first. The Czech Republic uses Czech koruna for currency, not zlotys. Having been there (and going back this year), I can tell you not to worry about getting CK ahead of time in US as currency exchange in Prague is very competitive with excellent rates, even at the airport. Really, I couldn't believe it, first time I've seen that. But even exchanging travelers checks, the rate is very close to what you'd get with a CC or ATM card (there are ATMs also). I usually like to take some foreign currency with me for emergencies, but CK is hard to get in the US, so if you are arriving in day time, just get some there.
