Shangrila: thanks for the new information included in your post.

I adding The bathing suit on my packing list for the "baths", and planning on "going for it!!"
It will be interesting to see we change our minds WHEN we are actually there.

Everyone I have talked to who has visited BUDAPEST has really enjoyed the city, although the contacts I personally know did not go to the baths.
The trip is finally getting closer!

I wanted an unusual experience and I got one at the Gellert spa. I go to spas in the US all the time so hohum, but the Gellert is something different. I think that is part of travel insights, places that are out of your comfort zone. It was so interesting and it is what I remember most about the trip to Budapest
