So Confused By The Eurostar Stuff

Ok, so I have found a great deal on a flight to Paris RT. It is only 410 bucks!

but what is troubling me is that I also want to visit London, and it seems as if the eurostar is like charging almost 500 bucks if I leave Paris on a friday or Saturday, and return on Monday.

Ugh! there must be a cheaper way to get from paris to london, right?

Paris to London on Fri - Sun/Mon are expensive (as I was told) because of the business men going back and forth..and the weekenders..
If you could do it more like Wed-Fri you might do better..

Check out flights. The train is nice but not for that kind of money!

That's a great airfare. Does the $410 include taxes, etc.? Where are you flying from?

I'm sure some knowledgeable Fodorite will heelp you find a cheaper Eurostar fare.

Good luck!

How to see Eurostar's "Offres week-end à Londres (Eurostar+ 1 nuit díhôtel)" including train plus 4* hotel for 117€:

Clear your eurostar.com cookies.
Go to eurostar.com and select "France."

Bonne chance!

For cheap flights try:

EASYJET (Paris CDG-Luton)
www.easyjet.com

BMI (Paris CDG-Heathrow)
www.flybmi.com

Hope this helps ...
