Snow in March
 

Wow it snowed last night here in Piedmont, not a whole lot but in March! Winter has been rapidly receding into Spring and we have been expecting one last icy finger so lets hope this is it. Many trees are starting to push buds and the yellow forsythia's are already in bloom.

We send you warm wishes from Hawaii. It's raining a little here, but is otherwise quite warm.

Well we decided to enjoy the "last day of winter", bottled some new wine, took a long nap and when we awoke the snow had melted and it was spring (almost).

I arrive in Florence tomorrow and REALLY hope there's not snow! I'm from New Hampshire and we've had more than our share this year. I love it, but I'm ready for a change. It's 27 here now and I'm looking forward to the 50's tomorrow! Forsythia would be a delight!

We are up to our necks on snow piles in Upstate NY! Sicily in April is sounding better and better each day. Very hopeful for great weather as I read Sampaguita described Piedmont current weather!! :O
