SNCF Sabotage

What seems to be the cause of the recent sabotage on some of the SNCF lines? Have the perpetrators been identified?

no, I don't think. I believe theyy just turned the case over to the antiterrorist section of the national public prosecutor's office in Paris, rather than keeping it local.

I just read an article on the website of Le Monde. Eight people have been arrested, described as ultra-leftists.

Our TGV from Lille to Paris on Saturday was delayed for 90 minutes as a result of the damage to the electrical system that day.

Oh I hadn't seen this. Makes me very grateful we got to Paris-Lille-Bruges-Lille-Paris with absolutely no delays... the next day there were strikes at some gares and then this? Glad they at least arrested people for it.

Yes, ultra-leftists/anarchists apparently behind these acts. Also appears they were well-versed in high-tension electricty. The cables they "played with" have 20,000 volts running through them !
