SNCF Italian rail ticket refund?

In the early days of planning my vacation, I purchased some tickets on the raileurope website. The tickets are for Milan to Monterosso in Italy , but they are issued by SNCF. Can I obtain a refund for these tickets in France/Italy?
Thanks in advance

If they are refundable, the only place that will refund them is Rail Europe.

The only identification on the tickets is SNCF, so thought they may have been refundable in europe. But if not then I will contact rail europe.

Any time you purchase anything from a travel agency (and RailEurope qualifies as a travel agency), only the travel agency can refund you -- they are the only ones qualified to say whether your credit card or check bounced or not.

the tickets say SNCF because RailEurope is largely owned by the SNCF and uses them obviously for their point to point tickets in Italy. You will lose 15% of the price you paid. Be sure to return them before the first date of their validity printed on them or you'll porbably get zilch afterwards.
