Any one heard of Hotel Minerva in SML?

Jane, The Jolanda is only about $100 and is great value. But, it is 2 blocks from the water. If you want $150 and on the water then the Laurin or the Continental is you best bet for 4 stars.

Thanks Bob. Do you know of Metropole?

We were at the Hotel Jolanda in May. We really enjoyed it. It was 129 Euros, but good location - walkable to the train station and close to center of town. Nice room, even on a busy street, was not too noisy.

Any suggestions on Hotel Metropole?

We have waterside rooms reserved at Hotel Metropole in October but can't tell you anything about it until then. There have been some excellant reviews of the hotel on some other boards. Not inexpensive but it looks nice.
