small town lodging near cork

We plan a few days in the area bounded by Cork, Cobh and Kinsale. Would like recommendations on B and B's in a small town that is easily accessible to all three. Cork is too large and Kinsale is on the outer edge of our interest. We like B and B's that are near pubs and town centers, not in residential areas.

I can only help w/ Clonakilty really, but that would probably be too far west for you.

What is your budget?

Blarney would be my recommendation to after being in that sweet small town of the castle fame. Join locals who allegedly urinate on the Blarney Stone at night and laugh at tourists bussing it the next day! (If local lore is to be believed!)

Thanks everyone, but we are going west next and staying in Kenmore. We want two days nearer Cobh, preferably between there and Kinsale. Budget, around $100 per night.

The only place on a direct line between Cohb and Kinsale is Cork. Blarney is just north of Cork so between the two places geographically and as requested " accessible to all three "

By Kenmore I will assume you mean Kenmare.

Yes,I did mean Kenmare. No spell check for me. We actually found two B and B's a little better situated south of Cork. One we picked is Ardfield on a horse farm.

I will try and remember to review it once we return.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
