slovenia in october?
 

I'd like to plan a trip to Slovenia for the first half of October as this is when we will have about 10 days free.

I've heard that September is an excellent time to visit Slovenia, so I'd like to find out if the first half of October is still good enough weather to really enjoy the beauty of Slovenia.

Can anybody help?

We were there several years ago in late Sept. and early October. The weather was good, less touristed and cooler a bit so it was very good for traveling and walking. we usually travel late Sept.,early Oct. and find that it is usually the best time to visit.

I would think that Slovenia should be lovely in october. I assume that there is a fall and the trees should be changing colors.

October is great here. We had a fabulous Autumn last year with lots of color. Days will be in the 60's (about 15 degrees) and evenings will be in the 40's (about 8-10 C)
