Slovania help please

Going to spend about 6 days in Slovania.Any advice appreciated. Also anyone visited Postojna and/or Skocjan caves and any opinions on which is better or are both worth seeing.

We are moving to Slovenia in two weeks. It is a beautiful country and well worth seeing. You could use Ljubljana as a base and visit Postojna Caves from there. It is about a 45 minute drive. I also recommend Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj and Piran.
again, all are about an hour away. I haven't visited the eastern portion of Slovenia yet, but may have the opportunity before you go. When are you traveling?

If you like hiking, explore Triglav National Park and the Soca River Valley. They are drop dead gorgeous. Another thing to do is visit the Lippizzan (sp). I haven't been yet but they are supposed to be very worthwhile.

I have visited Postojna caves and they are very worthwhile, esp. ona sweltering summer day! I can't compare to the other caves as I haven't visited them yet.

Ok...any specific questions, feel free to post.
Cheers,
Jan
Thank you for all your advice. I will be travelling in mid june and will be using trains and busses, I plan to stay at bled and also see the caves. Have heard that accommodation can be a bit pricey. Is this true.

Cheers
