Sloane square to Watford junction
Hello all.
Harry Potter warner brothers tour tomorrow. What's the best way to get there from Sloane square? I heard going to Watford junction and then take a bus? I currently have a oyster and travel card. |
You have to take a train to Watford Junction. The instructions are on the HP website. You plug in the post code of your hotel and it will give the transport.
But I'll save you the effort . . . The train leaves from Euston Station. From Sloane Sq you will take the tube to Embankment and change to the Northern line to Euston station. |
Oh - now that I think about it -- you can also take the tube to Victoria and then Victoria Line up to Euston -- should have looked at a tube map.

Hey Janis! Thank you! I was going to do something like... Sloane to West Brompton... West Brompton to wilesden junction... Willesden to Watford. So for the one you mentioned euston to Watford. My travel card I don't think will work. I'd need to load a little pay as you go I think. Ya?

Well, if you've got all day for a mystery tour...... Whichever way you go, if your travelcard only covers zones 1/2, you'd have to pay for the add-on to Watford. It's quite a bit cheaper from the Zone 2 boundary at Willesden Junction than from Euston. It would mean going out of the barriers on your travelcard and then in again on the Oyster PAYG - or ask the attendant at the barrier. |
If you have an oyster travel card you just need to add a few ££s to the oyster and it will calculate it for you at the cheapest price. Just ask the attendant at the barrier where you start your journey as Patrick says and they can tell you how much to add for your return visit.
|
If your travelcard is on the Oyster, then you don't need to go in and out again - I assumed you meant a paper National Rail travelcard. But the attendant will advise on that when you start your journey,
