Sleepless in Paris - I'm baaaack !!!

Hey you guys!
I'm back from a glorious week in Paris. I do have a French bug that's why I've been real wiped out and couldn't log on.
Lots a nekkid mens in the Louvre. Loved that Angelina's chocolate. We were vampires ! Using the Metro by day and out and about by car at night.
Slept an average of 2-3 hours a night if any sleep at all. Ooooh! Concert at Ste. Chapelle was awesome. Walking to Les Invalides in rain, hail and wind was unforgettable! Lots of Brazilian CDs at Virgin and FNac. Fnac is much cheaper!

I am working on a detailed account of my stay please Email me directly if interested.

THanks you guys for all your help!

Signed,

In bed with a French bug

Hope you get well soon! It's hard not to catch something when the germs are ones we haven't met before:(
BUT plleeeeeeeease post here so we can ALL enjoy your trip!

Slutting around at the Louvre with nekkid mens all day, and now you're in bed with.....a French "bug". Is that what you call it these days?

Aghast Nov 25th, 1999 07:06 AM

Gray/Gooey/Gross,
Don't know who you are. "Nekkid wimmens/mens" is a wholesome inside joke among a few Fodorites started by "Ron."
If slutting is what you're into this forum is much much to boring for you. If you need to get offensive check out other sites.
My dearest Aghast:
I realize that tongue in cheek humor is often difficult to recognize in print, but I can most certainly assure you that my note was written to be interpreted without a hint of literalness.
She spent time with 'nekkid mens', now she doesn't feel well and has a bug. It's a joke. Try and relax a bit. Eat some turkey and look for offensiveness elsewhere.

I sympathize with those who contract a bug in Paris. I did on my first trip and it sort of put a damper on things.

By the way, did anyone ever see where Ron voiced his appreciation for all of those great tips we gave him to help him on his visit?? I don't recall anything.
Several people dug deep to come up with thoughtful advice.

Georgia, we ALWAYS get the French flu - either that, or it relapses. If only it were from nekkid mens.

Do please post your stories/what I did on my summer vacation right here. We all read for vicarious thrills.

And, unlike Georgia who enjoyed her nekkid mens trip, Ron didn't deign to tell us about his nekkid womens trip. Just frosts my hide.

I wonder if Ron is into frosted hides.

Yikes! Sarcasm revisits.....I know...try sarcasm.com. But we all love nikkid Louvrethings.
