Sleeping at Stansted?

I have a very brief overnight layover at Stansted Airport (fly in late, catch train very early next morning). Is it safe/acceptable to doss down at the airport, or do security/police move you on? I've slept at airports all over the world, but not since all the heightened security started. I also don't know Stansted Airport at all.

Call me cheap, but I just don't want to pay 100 pounds for 4 hrs sleep at a hotel!

From what I've read on the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree bulletin board, the only problem you'll have sleeping at Stansted is competing for floor space with all the other people who will be doing the same thing.

there is a book out on sleeping in airports now and i believe stansted is about the most slept at airport in the world so you will not be alone!
