sleeper train (sleeping car options) rome to venice?

I am unsure of the what type of sleeper compartment to purchase for our intercity night train from rome to italy. My husband and I would like to share a bed if possible. Is this the 2-bed compartment option? if I click this option it asks "uomo, donna, compartimento intero" which do I pick. what is the difference between 1st and second class they seem to be the same price. also, what is the couchette option or 3 bed compartment?

Hi dt,

> My husband and I would like to share a bed ..>

You want "compartimento intero" (the entire compartment).

Actually you won't share a bed. You will have upper and lower bunks.

I can't find an overnight train with a
private sleeper compartment for Rome to Venice anywhere on the web? It's a 4 1/2 hour trip.
