Slea Head Drive vs. Conner Pass?

We have been to Dingle Peninsula twice and have never taken the Conner Pass. We have driven on Slea Head Drive and going clockwise I was scared to death, I will never do it again. Driving counter clockwise, no problem.
My question is how scary is Conner Pass? We are going to Dingle the end of April and we want to try it this time. I know it's beautiful, but if I am scared of falling off the side of cliff I will not enjoy it. Is it much better driving on the mountain side, as you are driving into Dingle? Is it as scary as Slea Head Drive?

Thanks,
Robbyn
